Hi there, Vincent here.

Me a newbee on the off-road scene..... well, almost! Hired and rode the XR250 and the Honda BAJA in Laos early this year and absolutely loved it. Had a bit of off road intro there and i think was bitten by the off road bug lah! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/guitar.gif)

Got my DR650 late Apr this year. Yet to check it out on the trail though. Pity the heavy rain last sunday caused the ride to be cancelled (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsdown_anim.gif)

Come on, scramblers, lets hit the dirt soon.... best way to get acquanted right? Both with your fellow riders and the dirt! haha.

(IMG:http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa250/vcheekk/Photo-0007.jpg)

Tats our first day out of Loois motor. Only bike I have now.... maybe some touring bike required later for those quick rides on highways (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bike.gif) will see....

Am planning for a trip to Kg Peta, Endau Rompin soon but will be after the 3NCR. Cannot be too late also due to the wet weather....

Come on guys.....you have a scrambler or dual purpose bike...lets go off road...

Kmax Hi there,

I think the trip you went me me was to Sg Selai, Endau Rompin (the other part of Endau Rompin). Sg Selai is a short trip. Still advisable to take a scram in to those places...

Kg Peta is 56km off road with plenty of pot holes around. Took my ex-GS1200 and present F800GS in to Kg Peta and riding was not too comfortable...I will take my XR250 in next....

Nusa, Plentong will be soon once Ramadhan is over...will keep you guys informed.

Cheers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/035.gif)

The clean cut look of spectrum surely will be no more at the end of the trail!

btw, my 'recce' at TM had my DR resting happily in the sand (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
(IMG:http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa250/vcheekk/TRAIL/Photo-0007.jpg)
Thanks, Spectrum, Barnes for organising the rescue. Most of all to Iskandar, David and Mark of Slackriders for getting me out. Huge lesson learned that day... do not trail alone (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-sweat.gif)
Sure look forward to getting out there on the trail and pick up some skills from the advanced riders. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bike.gif)

Once again its time to leave behind the hustle and bustle and nature beckons....

(IMG:http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa250/vcheekk/Endau%20Rompin/DSC00076.jpg)
some nice country roads. just some 56km from Kahang, near Kluang.

(IMG:http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa250/vcheekk/Endau%20Rompin/DSC00056.jpg)
some cool accomodation at Kg Peta

(IMG:http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa250/vcheekk/Endau%20Rompin/DSC00055.jpg)
a thrilling boat ride down the Jasin river......

(IMG:http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa250/vcheekk/Endau%20Rompin/DSC00047.jpg)
or simply chill by the waterfall.

(IMG:http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa250/vcheekk/Endau%20Rompin/DSC00035.jpg)
camping out and sleeping with insects part of the deal...

so, come on guys, lets go!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bike.gif) all you need is a little adventure bike and lots of adventure spirits!!
Thanks, Barnes for putting up the trip. looking forward (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif)

ya, i m happy anywhere under the stars (IMG:style_emoticons/default/guitar.gif) ..just did some practice with the tent... camp skills rather rusty, haha. BTW, last time we there, on the day we left, we did manage to convince the game warden to let us ride in to kg jardin campsite on our bikes, which is just 15 mins from the Peta HQ. He was reluctant when we first got there, which was why we took the boat. Can try again. its pretty nice campsite with basic amenities....

view from the jardin campsite.
