Mmm... U have an Adventurous Spirit...
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/helmet.png)
Some of the routes will be quite deserted... and in the wilderness...
But let's see..
Will also need to discuss with the rest of the team.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

indochina (of french origin: indochine) is made up of the territory of the former french colonies:
1. kingdom of cambodia
2. lao people's democratic republic
3. socialist republic of vietnam

a side note:
riders will be travelling through 2 of the 5 remaining communist countries left in the world (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

btw, are the riders interested in a meaningful project on the way to siem reap?

We will be at the China-Laos Border before heading for the Golden Triangle at Chien Sien.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/bike.gif)
As for the Help the Children of Siem Reap Project.
We'll be visiting them ath Siem Reap and
Will post more info about the project.

It's Run by Cabin Crew of SIA and what they do is
Contribuite $ & effort to build library & classrooms for the kampong.

Funds are collected & local contractors build these simple buildings.
The cabin crew will come in batches & do the painting, minor repair...
and interact with the children.

This will give them hands on & a real sense of mission as a direct contribuition.

Our Part(Moto-V):

We can contribuite $... And our visit will be good as the real time
interaction will make the assistance more meanful.

As Davinchee & myself are also part of SIA Flt Ops..
We will also get some support from our colleagues.

The Main Focus is a Better Live for the Children Of Siem Reap.

And what every dollar we give..
The amount will definately do muchl, much more there.
Education is one of the best gifts for a growing child.

If all of us here buy a kilo of chocolate each, I guess you have more than enough to sponser at least half the fuel cost for the Indo-China team and maybe top it up with some firewater, ain't it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif)

Life is simple in Laos & Cambodia...
Especially for their children.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
Our team will share some christmas & new year joy with them...
We'll bear some gifts and put a smile on their faces!
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/santa.gif)

(IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v484/2100spectrum/Indo%20China%202009/Gifts.jpg)

Will give these Colourful pen for the little ones we encounter them...
They are attractive, easy to carry & inexpensive... but am sure it will
light up the little faces...
And maybe they can use them to learn to do more writing..

(IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v484/2100spectrum/Indo%20China%202009/2copy.jpg)

Let The Spirit of Moto-V touch the lives of all... where ever we ride to.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-bouncefire.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-bounce.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-bouncefire.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-bounce.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-bouncefire.gif)

Will be passing the helmet around next meeting (2nd Jan 09) and
I hope all of us can be part of the giving.
Small amount will do...
Don't think 3 of us can stuff too much in our bags.
Anything from $1-$5 will be great.

I just got back from Cambodia, and the best things you can give the kids are school materials, notebooks, pens, pencils and so forth.
All local guys told us that education is the best future for kids, if you give them money they will stay out of school.

I went into a school in Siem Reap and bought books and pens for the entire class, and had my son (7 yr old) giving it to the kids during class.
It was a truly memorable experience for him.
Education is the best gift you can give to kids anywhere around the world.

Have a safe trip guys and make us the MotoV riders proud. Ride on!!!
