Find the very interesting review and comparison of the Kawasaki 1400GTR vs the existing (FJR, ST1300, K1200GT, R1200RT) in the January issue of Bike magazine.

I have posted partial extract of the magazine's comparison and included my own opinions at:

i don't think you need any special oil...
as long as it within specs, 10w50 or 10w40 is fine.

According to the service manual, the recommended engine oil viscosity is SAE 10W-40. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/helmet.png)

aloha!!!

anyone GTRian around???

anyway i got an item for sale

By the way i have this item for sale. I bought it earlier for my GPS. But it was solved by a RAM mouth already.

http://projektd.com/product_info.php...8b2f82734db83d

Universal Mount for GPS and other compact devices for Kawasaki GTR1400 / Concours 14 made from Precision Laser Cut Stainless Steel.

Fits on 2007 to 2009 Model bikes.

Our Universal Device Mount can be used for different applications, ie. GPS, Radio's, Music players, ...
The pre-drilled holes allow many brackets available on the market to be directly and conveniently fitted.

It allows you to install the device central on the bike. At this location it provides good visability and easy operation combined with the best protection for both the rider and the device.

Additional feature - the angle of the mounting plate can be adjusted freely. Each device and application can be set to fit each rider and style.

Installation of the bracket is easy and fast, a typical installation will take about 15 minutes.
The Universal Mount comes with long bolts that will replace the shorter factory bolts of the handlebars.
