Have a weekend trip to Ipoh from 19 May 12 to 20 May 12.......

Have a lot of nice food....... anyway this trip is just for the food......

Have our lunch at Tg Tualang and ordered frash water prawn and steam sun hock......

The hotel is located at city center and new, clean....... SGD50 per night

This Ipoh white coffee was started from this stall......

This is a best soya milk stall in Ipoh --- heard from locals.......

Had been to one of the Kopi Tiam for some great food.
But not sure which one..

Tg Tualang, N4 19.547 E101 03.332 there are few of restaurants along this area and mainly serve for flash water prawn.

Lou Wong Tauge Ayam Kuetiau, N4 35.637 E101 05.054 also few of chicken rice stall along same area.

Foh San Dimsum, N04 35.810 E101 05.167 this is a biggest Dimsum restaurant in Ipoh.

Sin Yoon Loong White Coffee, N04 35.597 E101 04.617 oldest white coffee in Ipoh.

Funny Mountain Soya bean, N4 35.682 E101 05.067

Tg Tualang is a very good place for flash water prawn and SunHock....... Sunhock must steam, the big prawn also must steam, the small prawn can fry with butter......

I have been this place since 2007, every year must go there at least once....... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/048.gif)

heard from locals, those prawn and fish will keep inside net and put inside river without feeding for about 1 to 2 weeks before release to market, to detoxify and solidify the meat, that's why no more muddy taste and the meat is solid and tender......
